Job Description

The QA team is responsible for ensuring the quality of all restaurant technology prior to deployment to all company owned and franchised restaurants, which in turn affects store level operations. The QA Analyst is accountable for ensuring “Restaurant Ready” solutions by creating and executing test plans to verify and validate restaurant technology.

Job Function


· Lab test, store test and market test restaurant software and hardware.

· Prepare and execute hardware and software test plans and automated test scripts

· Develop and maintain appropriate test environments and labs

· Execute test cases, both manual and automated and clearly document issues discovered in Quality Center.

· Participate in the peer review of design document.

· Provide hardware and software support to field operations and all internal RIS teams.

· Perform SQL data queries to define and validate test scripts.

· Document, track and report hardware and software defects via automated QA tracking tool.

· Work with RIS and third party development teams to resolve hardware and software issues.

· Work with project teams and clients to ensure correct functionality has been developed.

· Provide input for field training documentation and train internal support teams

· Travel as necessary to provide on-site software support and for training purposes




· BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

· Experience using testing and test automation tools. Quality Center, QTP, BPT, and LoadRunner preferred.

· Technical experience in Linux, Windows operating systems, SQL, DB2, XML and networking are required.

· The ability to read and understand business, functional, and technical specifications as well as other technical documents.

· Proficient in developing test plans and cases from requirements, functional and technical design documentation.

· Good organizational skills & ability to multitask well.

· Strong oral and written communication skills and strong problem solving ability
