You will be responsible for providing solution architecture on large, cross-functional projects, and having the technical knowledge to guide the teams in the design work and creating of implementation plans


You will partner with various business leaders within Taco Bell to define and maintain application components of technology roadmaps and understand the long term needs of the company, including investigation of new technologies. Main focus will be within the applications development and package implementation disciplines.


You will be working with some of the top names in the mobile development space to help them develop incredible apps. In this role, you will combine your unbridled enthusiasm and aptitude for mobile apps with your unmatched ability to build relationships with key industry influencers.


Your broad responsibilities will include owning technical engagements and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.


You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

Tasks and responsibilities


    - Lead the definition of Taco Bell’s Digital Ecosystem which combines creating mobile experiences along with commerce capabilities
    - Lead the definition, documentation, implementation and refinement of Taco Bell Integration standards, processes, and procedures
    - Lead the development of internal application to application integration as well as third party application integration to internal application integration based on industry standards
    - Develop conceptual and detailed architectural and design plans, and work with internal and external resources to drive the plans to completion
    - Evaluate and select technical solutions based on business requirements and standards
    - Research and present industry best practices to IT and business stakeholders at all levels
    - Build prototypes to prove out concept and validate feasibility




Required experience, skills, abilities, and certifications


    - Strong experience with formal and informal design documentation techniques
    - Strong understanding of high performing scalable software and integration architectures
    - Must absolutely be able to develop in at least one object orientated language
    - Must be able to create integration documentation, white papers (strong written communication skills)
    - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies
    - Strong understanding of project management techniques
    - Solid experience troubleshooting complex tasks and processes
    - Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    - Experience with Web services, REST Services, Process Orchestration, ESB and Data Virtualization Systems
    - Very strong experience incorporating enterprise security policies and technology into the integration architecture, standards and guidelines
    - Demonstrated pursuit and maintenance of certifications in one or more relevant technology disciplines
    - Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
    - 6+ years of collective IT experience in applications development, operations, infrastructure, architecture and integration
    - Experience with Retail and QSR industry an added plus
